NOAH'S BIRTHDAY!!!

For Noah's 11th Bday, he had a sleep-over with some buddies .... although I think it was more like a stay-over, because there was little to no sleep involved. When I checked on them at 3 a.m., there was only 1 sleeper at that time! Or it could be called an eat-over, b/c they ate 7 medium pizza's from Pizza Hut! Or it could be called a drink-over, b/c they drank an entire case (24) of soda and 5 of those large Gatorade bottles! It was lots of fun! Here's some pics and a video from the weekend! I love you Noah, and I sure am enjoying seeing you grow up! You da Man!

Going Under the KNIFE!

First time ever, but I'm having surgery tomorrow. It's called a Laminectomy! Sounds scary, and it is kinda scary. They are basically removing part of my spinal column and than removing about 15% of one of my discs that is pushing against my sciatic nerve! YIKES! Hoping it all goes well. If things go as planned, I should be good as new in about a month to six weeks. It's actually out-patient surgery, and I should be walking out of the hospital.

But, even though they are professionals and do this all the time, it's still scary ... especially when it's a first for me! They give you all the scenarios b/c they have to cover themselves. Well, those scenarios are what you tend to think about. YIKES!

Can't wait to get better so I can play ball again, run around with my boys, wrestle, get jumped on, and have fun!!! It's been way to hard having to just watch!!! Can't wait to get my back back! :-)

So, on the eve of my surgery, gotta send a big shout out to my family! See ya on the flip side, yo!
